Općina Vrsi je jedna od najmlađih općina u Republici Hrvatskoj. Osnovana je Odlukom Hrvatskog sabora 13. srpnja 2006. godine, a započela je s radom 01. siječnja 2007. godine. 13. srpnja se ujedno slavi kao Dan Općine Vrsi. U sastavu Općine Vrsi se nalaze mjesta Vrsi i Poljica. Prema popisu stanovništva iz 2021. godine, Općina Vrsi je imala 2.030 stanovnika. Općina je smještena na malom poluotoku na krajnjem sjeverozapadnom dijelu sjeverne Dalmacije, oko 20-ak km udaljeno od Zadra.
Općina Vrsi obiluje kulturnom baštinom i prirodnim ljepotama. Stanovnici se pretežito bave poljoprivredom, turizmom i pomorstvom. Od 1970.-ih do 1990.-ih godina Općina je imala tri stotine aktivnih pomoraca. Pomorstvo je velikim dijelom pridonijelo izgradnji turističke infrastrukture i prelijepih apartmana uz samu obalu.
Općina svake godine subvencionira kupovinu sadnica maslina te vinove loze za svoje mještane. Također, Općina je član LAG-a Bure, udruženja devet općina sa zajedničkim ciljem postizanja održivog i integriranog razvoja cjelokupnog područja, posebice s naglaskom na ruralni razvoj. Od 2021. godine Općina postaje dio i LAGUR Tri mora.
Jedno od najvećih prirodnih bogatstava Općine Vrsi je prekrasna i razvedena obala duga 34 km. Obalom dominiraju prirodne uvale i skrivene plaže dok se na predjelima Vrsi-Mulo i Vrsi-Zukve mogu naći urbane plaže sa osvjetljenim šetnicama.

The Municipality of Vrsi is one of the youngest municipalities in the Republic of Croatia. It was founded by a Decision of the Croatian Parliament on July 13, 2006, and started its operations on January 1, 2007. July 13th is also celebrated as the Municipality of Vrsi Day. The Municipality of Vrsi includes the settlements of Vrsi and Poljica. According to the 2021 census, the municipality had 2,030 residents. The municipality is located on a small peninsula in the far northwestern part of northern Dalmatia, about 20 km away from Zadar.
The Municipality of Vrsi is rich in cultural heritage and natural beauty. The inhabitants are mainly engaged in agriculture, tourism, and maritime activities. From the 1970s to the 1990s, the municipality had about three hundred active seafarers. Maritime activities significantly contributed to the development of tourism infrastructure and beautiful apartments along the coastline.
Each year, the municipality subsidizes the purchase of olive and grapevine seedlings for its residents. It is also a member of the LAG Bure association, which consists of nine municipalities with a common goal of achieving sustainable and integrated development of the entire area, with a special focus on rural development. Since 2021, the municipality has also been part of the LAGUR Tri Mora.
One of the greatest natural treasures of the Municipality of Vrsi is its beautiful and indented coastline, which stretches for 34 km. The coastline is dominated by natural coves and hidden beaches, while the Vrsi-Mulo and Vrsi-Zukve areas feature urban beaches with illuminated promenades.
